About The Park

Amend Park is a 60-acre, multi-use recreational complex, which serves primarily as a soccer facility for the Billings area. As a city park, Amend Park receives standard park maintenance, such as one mowing per week and city park irrigation. As the sport of soccer continues to grow in Billings, recreational and competitive organizations recognize that standard park care is inadequate to produce safe, quality playing fields and that limited park funding makes it impossible for the City of Billings Parks, Recreation & Public Lands Department ("the City") to further develop Amend Park. Amend Park Development Council ("APDC") is a nonprofit organization working in partnership with the City to improve Amend Park. APDC identifies projects which will enhance Amend Park and works with the City to implement the project plans. APDC then secures the private funding necessary to carry out the improvements to Amend Park. APDC's mission is to continue to work closely with the City to improve Amend Park to provide quality soccer fields and amenities consistent with community recreational facilities.
